Time recording
All time entries in a clearly arranged table - filterable by employee, project, contact or service
Settings for time recording
Before using Scopevisio time recording and time accounting, we recommend the following steps:
The company you are billing time to should be created as a customer in Scopevisio.
The services to be invoiced should be created in the master data in the product catalog.
We also assume that you want to record times on projects or orders and that you have already created these.
You can customize the name of the Projects menu item during setup in the setup wizard under Company in the Project name data field and rename it, for example, to "Process" or "File". The menu item "Projects" is referred to below.
Call up the time recording lists under Organization > Time recording. Select Further actions: Time tracking settings.
In the time tracking settings, you can define colors for the display of time entries in the calendar. You can also define the start and end of your standard working day. Specify when a subsequent entry should start and how times recorded with the stopwatch should be rounded.
Save your settings and use the small arrow to return to the overview.
Time recording lists
You can filter these lists by employee, project, contact or service. In the following example, a project has been filtered in order to prepare the billing of this project to the customer.
Time tracking list entries and calendar entries are synchronized with each other, they represent the same object, just in different views.
You can subsequently edit time entries in the timesheets. If, for example, the assignment to a project or order is missing because the employee has not coded their time correctly, you can make this assignment here. We recommend displaying the columns Completed, Payroll approval and Billable.
You can create a new time entry using the Add button.
Enter the information for your time entry. Save and go back to the overview.
The new time entry is displayed.
Tip: Use the practical mass editing function to confirm several time entries in one step, for example. Select all desired entries and confirm one of these entries; all other selected entries are now also confirmed.
