DMS Teamwork project collections
Sales > Sales projects (business object "Documents") / Projects > Projects (business object "Documents")
The newly created project collections can be used to create a direct link between the Teamwork DMS and individual project files:
After activating the function under "Global -> Master data -> Project settings", create an assigned Teamwork collection on the desired project via the "Documents" business object. If documents are now assigned to the project, they automatically appear in the Teamwork collection - conversely, the Teamwork documents are also listed in the project.

This not only creates transparency in the project process within a company - the link also simplifies the exchange with external participants. In combination with the "Special email address" feature, it is possible to store documents directly in projects if the email address refers to the project's Teamwork collection as the destination. The assignment takes place fully automatically in the background and after a few moments, project managers have the latest documents available in the project file.

DMS Teamwork folder sharing
DMS Teamwork > Documents
In project management as well as in general document management, it is sometimes desirable not to necessarily share an entire collection of documents with participants. If access should only be restricted to a subfolder in a collection, it is now possible to specifically share the folder without making the parent collection or other folders accessible.
This form of extended authorization therefore allows the targeted sharing of folders and enables leaner structures in the document management system overall. In addition to sharing at collection or document level, Teamwork has a significant practical addition with folder sharing.
Process bar
Sales > Sales projects > Total / Projects > Projects
A major innovation in this feature set is the modernized process bar, which supplements the document lists and project overviews as standard. The advantage lies in the immediate overview of project-relevant documents, from early potential through to payment processing. For example, the contact and project are selected first.
Thanks to the clear display, the number of existing receipts can be seen at a glance; if you move the mouse pointer over the receipt type, the specific amounts are displayed.
System administration: Rights / authorizations
Work lists in the user administration
Global > System administration > User administration
The new worklist system has been introduced in two places within the user administration. This means that any number of customizable filters are available both for the user list under "Manage users" and for the stored rights profiles in order to quickly switch between different filter scenarios.
To create worklists, set the desired view and add the filtering to your worklists using the "+" symbol. Favorite worklists marked with an asterisk are displayed as standard when the corresponding page is called up.
Product administration right
System administration -> User administration -> Manage user profiles and rights
In response to many customer requests, the product master within the master data has been given a separate right in the updated authorization concept. Under "System administration -> User administration -> Manage user profiles and rights" you will find the setting in the profiles for CRM, Finance and Billing. The authorization is activated by default.
To grant access to individual employees only, first remove the authorizations in all the profiles mentioned and assign the authorization specifically: For example, add a new profile, assign a name and grant the display and editing rights for "Product management" for the CRM, Finance or Billing application. Then open the "Manage users" item via the system administration and assign the authorization within the contact profiles of the desired employees.
Internal file archive right
System administration -> User administration -> Manage user profiles and rights
To improve data protection, the "Internal file archive" entry has been added to the authorizations under "System administration -> User administration -> Manage user profiles and rights" under "Companies and users".
Detached from DMS Teamwork, the archive represents a central storage location within the instance where files generated by Scopevisio are stored. These include templates, reports created in the system and documents such as processed incoming invoices, outgoing invoices, quotations, etc.. Personal files uploaded to Teamwork are independent of this and are subject to the respective collection and document approvals.
The authorization for the internal file archive presented here makes it possible to prevent access to receipts, messages and documents from different companies of an instance or to reserve them for administrators. With this update, the "internal file archive" permission is not activated by default.
Contacts
Departments as free text field
Contacts > People > General
The specification of departments in the "Personal details" business object can now be made for personal contacts both via a stored selection and individually via free text. It is therefore no longer necessary to create a corresponding field for individual specific departments via "Global -> System control -> System -> Manage selection lists" under "General contact data -> Department".
Reports
Cost dimension as mandatory information
Reports > Accounting > User-defined reports > Cost accounting
Global > Master data > Accounting > Edit accounting settings
Cost dimensions (e.g. cost units, projects) can be activated as mandatory fields for revenue postings in the user-defined reports area. The setting is made for each cost dimension via the double arrow > "Set parameters". Users are now prompted to make the corresponding entry when saving a booking - even if invoices are booked directly from the invoice details of the module. For this purpose, the "Apply mandatory settings for dimensions" option has been added to the billing settings in the master data under "Additional settings".
Accounting
Taxation types ACTUAL and TARGET
Global > Setup wizard > Finance > Sales taxation
In response to many customer requests, the ACTUAL or TARGET taxation is now specified once for each company in the setup area. The information previously required for each VAT return is therefore no longer necessary. The information saved in the calibration wizard under "Finance" applies.
Adjustment of the booking mask
Global > Master data > Manage accounting > Booking mask
When entering postings, it is now possible to optionally display the document type in a selection field. The display of the field is activated in the booking settings under "Global -> Master data -> Manage accounting -> Booking mask".

In order to be able to customize target groups of campaigns in a more user-friendly way, the filtered contact list allows you to remove any entries at this point, even with multiple selection via mouse click, CTRL click or Shift click.
