References in Teamwork

Teamwork documents can have a reference to a contact, a task or a project.

Digital mail distribution through document references

When documents arrive in the company, they need to be distributed to the processes, departments, projects and processors involved.

The best way to do this in Scopevisio is as follows:

In TEAMWORK-DMS, the documents can be pre-sorted centrally into collections, project documents, for example, into a collection Project xy.

A competent processor, e.g. the project manager, can then assign the documents to the appropriate reference objects:

  • The contract documents to the project

  • The work documents to the tasks

  • The customer-related information to the contact

Set reference

Select one or more documents in TEAMWORK and right-click on them.

Select the menu item Reference > Edit document references to display a list of possible reference objects.

Manage references

You can add or remove references in the following form.

  1. Select the type of reference.

  2. Select a desired reference.

  3. Click on Assign.

    or...

  4. Select a reference that is no longer required.

  5. Click on Unassign.

Note: You can also access the document references via System menu > System administration > DMS Teamwork > Edit document references.
