Top innovations in feature set 112 (FS112)

In the last release of 2020, we paidparticular attention to the Organization functional area to make your work easier.

But first, here are the top three new features in the current feature set 112:

The XInvoice

As already announced in the last feature set, XRechnung has been mandatory since November 27, 2020 when it comes to invoicing federal authorities. You can now create this purely electronically readable format in Scopevisio just like any other invoice. You can read about what you need to consider in the article "The XRechnung".

Specification in billing settings

GoBD-relevant topic: In the September release, we pointed out the setting option for fixing invoices and credit notes. We would now like to inform you that this option is now activated by default. Invoices created in BELEGE2GO can also be fixed accordingly and sent with legal validity. You can find the setting for this under Organization > Master data > Billing: Edit billing settings in the "Other settings" business object.

Quick rights assignment in several companies

If you would like to assign rights to a user that are valid for several companies, you can now use the quick assignment function to do the work for you. Go to the relevant user via the user administration and follow the Quick assignment link below. Check the desired rights, select the applicable companies, click the "Assign" button, save - and the rights are set!

Organization

More precise planning thanks to time budget and minutes

If you create a time entry that you assign to a service in a specific order, you will receive an indication in the "Time entry" business object of how much time your budget is for this order and how much of it is still available.
Furthermore, we have increased the accuracy of time billing to the extent that 4 decimal places are now taken into account when totaling. This means you can plan - and bill - to the minute.

Travel expenses: Enter a fixed internal note

As a travel expenses administrator, you can now determine whether an employee's internal note should be permanently transferred to all further expense reports for the same employee when a new travel expense report is created. Activate the "Update internal note" function in the travel expense settings and the colleague submitting the travel expenses will no longer have to waste time entering repetitive notes.

Document type-dependent pre-assignment of the customer address

If you want to differentiate more precisely, enter once in the accounting settings which customer address should be addressed for which receipt type. Choose between standard, main, invoice and free address. In this way, you have once again set the course for automating repetitive processes and entries.

More flexibility through free customer and vendor lengths

Personal account number ranges independent of the G/L account length can now have any length. To do this, first set the "Free customer/vendor lengths" field to "Yes" in the company settings under Organization > Administration > Manage company. Under System menu > Manage accounting > Number ranges, you can then freely determine the start and corresponding end value when editing a personal account number range.

Hypatos soon to be the only OCR engine
Due to the positive customer experience, we will only support the Hypatos OCR engine from December 2020. On average, all OCR results showed better recognition of data. We will finally switch off the alternative OCR options Tesseract and Default by the end of the year at the latest.

More security through transparency in payroll accounting

In the new "Payroll accountant" column in the user overview, you can see at a glance who is entered as a payroll accountant in the company.
If another payroll accountant is added, all existing payroll accountants receive an email from the system informing them of this.

New text modules for wages & salaries

The texts previously only sent as uneditable system emails in connection with the distribution of payroll accounting can now be found under Organization > Master data > Languages and text modules: Manage text modules via the link Add missing standard text modules from system data. If you load them into the list of standard text modules, you can edit them later. For better differentiation, these text modules all start with L&G.

Faster verification of incoming invoices

Scopevisio now lets you, as the person entering incoming invoices, glide even more smoothly through your workflow: Verify invoices one after the other from the detailed overview with just one click on the new multifunction button "Verify/Verify and Next". The extra click, with which you can still maneuver through incoming invoices to be entered using the arrow keys at the top of the form, is no longer necessary.

Traffic light system shows accuracy of employee assignment

Your payroll accountant can now see at a glance in the "Assignment accuracy" column how reliable the employee assignment from Scopevisio Wage & Salary is and at which point data still needs to be reconciled or updated.

API

Via the portal under your login to My Scopevisio, you can now view the validity of your API tokens and invalidate them centrally if necessary.

The POST /incominginvoice/{id} endpoint has been added.
