Overview of the settings in My Scopevisio

You can change and adapt many settings to suit your specific needs if the default value does not match your working habits.

You can access your individual configurationsby clicking on the S icon at the top left and calling up My Scopevisio or by clicking on your user name (top right) and calling up the account settings.

The form is divided into the areas General, Search, Export and Advanced. The following numbering refers to the numbers in the illustration, which summarizes all four areas.

You have the option of

  1. create a desktop shortcut again.(Note: If you start Scopevisio via the web portal, a desktop shortcut is only created initially. If you delete this, it can be created again using this form).

  2. Install theMS Office Connector or start the mobile"2GO" applications .

  3. Set your individual My Menu and My Collections menus as standard menus.

  4. use the start form to specify which application in which company you want to start the program.

  5. activate the new menu ribbon and decide whether you want to continue to see the previous menu tree or not.

  6. set up two-factor authentication.

  7. change your password or e-mail address.

  8. definethe behavior when closing Scopevisio, the forms and the files in process.

  9. customize the display of the process overview.

  10. make settings regarding the Scopen function. For example, you can restrict the search results of the intelligent search by specifying that only documents with a document date in the last month or year are displayed in the search results.

  11. Define settings regarding the behavior of the selection list. The billing documents are created more quickly if you activate this optimization.

  12. Make settings regarding exports from tables and specify the coding for the csv export that is to be set by default(important: files exported in csv are opened in Microsoft Excel by default).

  13. Definefinancial settings such as the use of business transactions for certain actions or the direct entry of fixed assets.

  14. Activate thedialing function for Windows TAPIunder Telephone dialing settings. A telephone receiver icon then appears in the top right-hand corner of the contacts with a stored telephone number. Clicking on the desired telephone number connects you to the person you are calling. (Prerequisite: Use of a PC-supported telephone system that supports this function (e.g. ESTOS ProCall).

  15. Setediting permissions for comments - Here, each user can specify whether or not others are allowed to edit and/or delete their comments.

Setting the size of the display

If the Scopevisio screen display is too small for you, you can simply enlarge it:

In the My Scopevisio area, you will find the size setting, which is set to 100% by default. Click in the field and select a different value from the selection list. Do not forget to save!

Amount entry with floating point

You can choose whether amounts are entered in the amount fields for cash, finance and asset accounting with or without a decimal point.

In the setting without a decimal point, the last two digits of the figure are automatically treated as a decimal value. Set the Amount entries with/without decimal point field accordingly.
