Cash sheets (book)

Cash sheets (book)

All data entered during the cash entry process is available for posting and does not need to be entered again, nor does the receipt added to the cash sheet.

Via Finances > Cash > Cash sheets you can see all completed cash sheets. By selecting a cash sheet line and clicking on Create posting template and post, you transfer the data from the cash sheet to a posting form.

A posting overview opens in which you can make simple additions directly, e.g. the contra account (1), tax key, cost dimension account or addition to the document (4).

For more complex issues, e.g. an account split), first select the line.
Edit posting data (2) opens a reduced posting screen in the drill-down, in which you can carry out debit or credit splits (3). Click on Apply to return to the overview.

As soon as all cashbook lines can be posted, you can journalize the lines with Post (5).

As all lines must be checked and postable, it is recommended that you do not allow cash journal sheets to become too long. It is advisable to close the cash journal after 20 to 25 lines at the latest.
