New Wage & Salary function
Do you like printing and distributing your employees' payslips? Then don't read any further.
But if you would prefer to digitize this process to save time and money, then we have the new Payroll & Salary function for you. It connects the Scopevisio Payroll & Salary program with your Scopevisio company, allowing data from the payroll runs to be transferred to Scopevisio, posted directly and archived. You can then distribute your employee statements via personalized teamwork collections at the click of a mouse. It can be that simple.
In the new Wages & Salaries article, we introduce you to the use of digital payroll accounting.
New structure in Teamwork
Announced some time ago and now being implemented: we will gradually migrate the DMS Teamwork of our existing customers. As soon as this is done, you will see the "Available soon" button in the "Documents" form - the sign that the migration is complete. If you click on it, you will be shown the new, clearer structure: categories will help you to find your way around quickly.
We have already summarized all the informationhere to help you find your way around.
Try it out without obligation - you can switch back and forth between the two different view types until the end of the year. From 2021, the new structure will then be a fixed part of DMS Teamwork.
The approvals of your documents will not be affected by the migration. Your old collection structure will also remain unchanged if you decide to continue working with the old collection tree for the time being.

Further adjustments as part of the economic stimulus package
Not quite as prominent in the foreground, but nevertheless no less topical, are some further adjustments that we have made in Scopevisio to make the work resulting from the economic stimulus package easier for you or even relieve you of it.
In product management, we have added a query for the tax rate when calculating gross/net prices, and in the invoice receipt book we have added a note to check the correct tax rate. Degressive depreciation has also been reactivated, and the import of outgoing invoices via the API now also takes dynamic tax keys into account.

Faster creation of new objects
The "Create new object" menu in the toolbar has been adapted to the main functions in the ribbon. New objects from all areas can now be created even faster.

Store: Better information flow through targeted contacting
In order to be able to inform our existing customers about important customer actions such as license changes, we have added several (mandatory) fields to the "Billing address" business object that enable us to contact your contract contacts or their representatives without detours or long searches. This means that you are immediately up to date with the latest information on license actions, as the relevant person can be contacted directly.

Important for our customers in Austria: In the "Austrian tax office" business object, set whether you are subject to the chamber levy. This value is set to yes by default.

With "Overwrite introductory text" and "Overwrite closing text", we are providing you with two new actions that you can apply by rule. In this case, the original content of the fields is overwritten with the text module you have selected.

Would you like to get a quick overview of the last activities in DMS Teamwork? Similar to the context-related activity journal, which you can call up via the zigzag line at the top right, an overview of the last 100 actions is now also available for Teamwork via the same call.

Contacts: Mandatory fields when converting to employee
We make sure that no important information about employees falls by the wayside. If you convert a contact to an employee, all mandatory fields must first be filled in before you can transfer the data. The information on the main employer is filled in automatically when the employer is selected.

Time recording: faster creation of new time entries thanks to default values
Save yourself clicks when creating new time entries by storing some default values in the time recording settings from the outset. Set a standard start and duration here, as well as the default values for the "Completed", "Invoice" and "Release" fields, and you won't have to waste time or clicks on them in future.

Trip recording: more flexibility thanks to freely selectable start address
Start addresses for trips can now not only be selected from existing contacts, but can also be entered freely.

Travel recording: new checking options for receipts
Receipts should always be submitted for some travel expense items. In the travel expense settings, you now have the option of activating a warning function if no receipt has been attached. Alternatively, you can also completely prevent the submission of travel expense reports with missing receipts.

Product management: Query the tax rate
As prices have no reference to a time period, we have included a query for the tax percentage rate, which you can use to take the changes to the economic stimulus package into account. This becomes active as soon as you click on the Calculate from gross/net prices links in the form for a specific product in order to calculate the correct prices from the other type with the tax rate adjusted to the economic stimulus package.

DATEVconnect online: larger selection of browsers for authentication
In the "DATEVconnect settings" form, you will find the new data field "Browser for authentication", where you can optionally select from additional browsers, as DATEV will replace Internet Explorer with Edge and Chrome in the future.

Billing: New payment methods available
For an even greater choice of payment methods when creating invoices, we now also offer Amazon Payment and Billpay. You can find these options under the "Payment" tab in the "Payment method" selection list.

Invoices: Tax base according to the company's main address
The country stored in the main address of your company, but not the VAT business focus, affects the tax base displayed in invoices. If the "Country" field is not filled in, Germany is automatically assumed.

Rebu: More traceability of the ER status
Display the status changes made to incoming invoices in the invoice receipt book under "Further actions" > Invoice events. With completed approval processes, this is your reference for who did what with an invoice and when. Administrators see the complete overview, other users only see the restricted overview of the incoming invoices assigned to them.

Rebu: Assignment of the internal number only after verification
In order to ensure complete documentation (keyword GobD), an incoming invoice is only assigned an internal number after it has been verified. Depending on your settings in System menu > Manage accounting > Incoming invoice settings: Further settings in the "Remove invoice after verification" field, you can decide for yourself whether you want to allow removal. In this case, this is the reason for a gap in the internal numbering, which only counts verified incoming invoices.

Rebu: Note on checking the correct tax rate
The VAT adjustment causes us all extra work - Scopevisio can't do it for you completely, but it can make it easier: If you select one or more invoices in Rebu, you can use "More actions" > Check correct tax key to check whether the tax rate drawn based on the service date is correct. If this is not the case, a message is displayed in the newly added column "Check tax rate required" so that you can check the tax rate for these invoices.

Online banking access: Additional information
If you want to keep track of who created or changed an account and when, you can now find this information in the new columns "Created by", "Created on" and "Changed on".

Banking: Payment reference as a new rule condition
Particularly interesting for payment transactions with Austria: The new field "Payment reference", which has been added to various forms, e.g. in contact/role customer (debtor)/GO creditor (debtor) payment terms, the rebu or the settlement documents, can also be selected as a new condition for account statement rules or clearing. It can be filled alphanumerically, may have a length of 25 characters and is represented by the placeholders ZRef/payment reference.

Posting: New field Country code (LC)
Quickly filter for postings with different country codes: All forms in which a posting with a tax code can be entered or imported now also contain the "Country code" field. The field is also available in the tax matrix, the journal and the account sheets. It can optionally remain empty or be filled from the selection list with ISO codes of the countries already stored in the country table (basic data/countries, selection of country in the General contact). In this way, both MOSS cases and VAT company status in several countries can be covered.

Booking details: clear presentation of all dates
Regardless of the type and origin of the booking, you now also have the service date from/to together with all other date details relating to the booking clearly displayed in the block.

Economic stimulus package: reactivation of declining balance depreciation
As part of the economic stimulus package, we have updated the depreciation types: with retroactive effect from 1.1.2020 until 31.12.2021, the percentage of declining balance depreciation is 25% again.

Journal: quick overview of postings with new "Posting overview" form
Get an overview of how, to what extent, when and by whom postings have been made - everything can be found in the new "Posting overview" form, which you can access via the "Further actions" in the journal.

Economic stimulus package: The new tax rates are now also taken into account in REISE2GO .
Clearer navigation and search: In all 2GOscontaining projects and time entries, their display has been enhanced with page-by-page navigation and a full-text search for filtering. The following fields are now displayed in the selection list of orders, e.g. for a time entry:

Project name (if available)
Billing approval option: In the settings, determine whether you want the "Billing approval" field to be displayed for time entries as standard. Otherwise deactivate it for greater clarity.

The dynamic tax keys integrated as part of the implementation of the tax reduction are adopted in the item when importing outgoing invoices via the POST /outgoinginvoices/import web service depending on the delivery date (deliveryDateFrom and deliveryDateTo).
