Calendar - extended functions
With the Scopevisio calendar, you can display and manage your time-based data. Use the filters to create
Time recording calendar
project calendars
Calendars filtered by contact
Calendars filtered by performance
Calendars for time accounting
Your own calendar
...and any combination of these criteria.
You can also use and maintain your Scopevisio calendars on the go with the PROJEKTE2GO mobile app and integrate calendar links into Outlook or other calendar applications.
Create a time recording calendar
Start with the time recording function.
Open Time recording,
filter the view in the Time tracking lists section according to your desired criteria
and give the list a name using the work list symbol (see marking).
Then click on Calendar.
Important: Filter out the desired information in the filter area marked in red ( Time tracking lists section) so that the filter is transferred to the calendar. If you use the yellow filter column in the table itself, the details are only hidden but not removed. This means that they would be visible again in the calendar view.
Creating task calendars
You create task calendars in the same way as time tracking calendars. Start by clicking on the Tasks function.
You open Tasks,
filter the view in the Task lists section according to your desired criteria
and give the list a name using the task list icon (see marking).
Then select the More functionsicon
icon and click on Open current view as calendar.
Creating a project calendar
You create project calendars in the same way as time tracking calendars.
Open Projects > Projects,
filter the view in the Project lists section according to your desired criteria
and give the list a name using the work list icon (see marking).
Then select the More functionsicon
icon and click on Open current view as calendar.
Create calendar link
The calendar with the selected configuration opens and in the header area there is a field called Public link. Set this to Available.
Copy calendar link
A link appears with a copy button next to it. Click on this.
Integrate calendar in Outlook
Open Outlook > Calendar and select the Open calendar > from the Internet command on the Start tab.
The New Internet Calendar Subscription dialog box appears. Click in the input field and paste the calendar link that you copied into Scopevisio here. Then click OK and confirm in the following dialog box that you want to subscribe to the calendar. Once you have done this, the calendar will be displayed in Outlook.
Published calendars
Once you have saved a calendar link, the calendar in question will be listed under Published calendars.
You can access this by selecting Calendars:
Open More functions and click on Published calendars.
Select Edit or double-click on a calendar to open the selected calendar and, for example, change it or copy its link again.
Select Remove to delete the selected calendar. The entries are retained, only this special, filtered view that the calendar displays is removed.
You can use the work list icon to save the link list as a work list under its own name.
Open calendar on the smartphone
The generated calendar link is an .ics file that can be read by many common calendar applications. You can also send this link to your smartphone and open it there with your calendar app. This will usually work.
On the iPhone, for example, you will be offered to subscribe to the calendar. This means that entries from the Scopevisio calendar are synchronized to your mobile device. This synchronization does not yet work in the opposite direction. To use this functionality, we recommend the PROJEKTE2GO mobile app.
