Create task with Office Connector
What is the Office Connector?
The Office Connector is a practical add-in that connects the Microsoft Office programs Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook with Scopevisio.
As you know, Scopevisio offers the option of linking documents and emails as reference objects with contacts, projects and tasks. With the Office Connector, you can create a task in Scopevisio directly from Outlook.
After installing the Office Connector, you will find two new "Scopevisio Connector" buttons on the left-hand side of the start toolbar. Once you have started Scopevisio, select the Scopevisio Connector button on the left.
Log in
Enter your login information in a login window and start the Connector. Select the Tasks tab in the Connector and click on the Create new task button in the Connector area.
Create task
A window opens in which you enter the task details. The subject is mandatory. You can assign the task to a contact or project, for example, or delegate it. Then click the button with the checkmark.
Display in Outlook
The new task is displayed in the connector and the email is highlighted in color in Outlook.
Display in Scopevisio
The task is displayed in Scopevisio, including the email from which it was created.
