Product management

Create products so that you can order them in procurement or use them in the sales process (quotation to invoice).

Products - tabular overview

Select Organization > Products > Product management.

Some products are already created ex works in the product management.

You can add, edit or remove products from the overview.
If a product is not to be deleted completely, Lock/Unlock offers the appropriate alternative. Blocked products cannot be used and can be easily filtered out using the "Blocked" column.

Create new products by clicking on Duplicate after selecting a similar product. Then only the different details need to be adjusted.

We will explain how to use the product later and the change history shows you all the changes made after selecting a date.

When you create or edit a product, you will see a large number of business objects (GO) and fields. The product data is divided into the individually described areas

• General,

• Sales,

• Purchasing,

• Stock/warehouse and

• Production (BOM allocation only).

The areas and fields displayed depend on your license; some data is not available without procurement.

To be able to switch quickly between products, you can use the product tree, which you can switch on and off at the top right under Further actions.
