The application does not start
Important note on the changeover to the new 64bit client
As part of the changeover to the 64bit architecture, we have technically revised our client. This change brings improved performance and increased security. To ensure that you can continue to access Scopevisio without restrictions after 05.09.2024, it is necessary that you download and install the new Scopevisio client from your customer lounge before this date.

If the application repeatedly fails to start via the desktop icon, please follow these instructions.
Windows
Delete your Scopevisio desktop icon.
Open the path C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local via My Computer.
Note: This folder is hidden by default for security reasons. However, you can access the directory by entering %localappdata% in the address line of a folder.
Delete the directory "C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\ScopevisioLauncher".
Delete the directory "C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Scopevisio".
Open the directory C:\Users\Username and rename the file .erpclient.properties.
Log in to the download area via the customer lounge at www.scopevisio.com and restart your instances. This will create a new, functioning desktop link.

Mac OS X
Delete your Scopevisio desktop icon (if present).
Start the "Terminal" program on your Mac. To start the program, enter the word Terminal in the Spotlight and then click on the Terminal search result under Programs.
Execute the following command in the Terminal program:
rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/Scopevisio
rm -rf ~/Downloads/Scopevisio*app
rm -rf ~/Applications/Scopevisio*Open the directory Users > Username and rename the file .erpclient.properties (if necessary, show the hidden files via "Shift+CMD+(dot)").
Log in to the customer lounge on the website www.scopevisio.com via Login and download the Scopevisio application by clicking on Download.

Mac OS X 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion), 10.9.5 (Mavericks) and 10.10 (Yosemite)
When you open the Scopevisio application, the following error message may appear:
If this is the case, please click on[OK] and open the Finder. As a rule, you will find the downloaded Scopevisio application in the "Downloads" folder.
There, right-click on the Scopevisio application file and select the 'Open' command from the context menu. The following message then appears:
Another case is when opening the Scopevisio application on your Mac is not supported because of the message 'Scan for malware'. Apple is becoming more restrictive here (as is Microsoft with Windows Defender) and generally no longer allows the installation of third-party software without warning.
Proceed as follows:
Navigate to the start icon for the Scopevisio application and select it,
right-click on the element while holding down the Control key,
then select 'Open' and the following dialog should appear:
The message can be confirmed once at this point and the application is then available without restrictions.
