Correction invoices

Credit memo overview

To view your correction invoices (formerly credit notes), go to Organization > Correction invoices. On the overview page, you can see the status of your credit notes (1).

The Credit memo lists section offers various filter options (2).

You can save a filtered list under your own name as a worklist using the Worklist button (3). You will then find this list, which updates itself automatically, in your workstation menu.

Creating credit notes

You usually create a credit note from a billing document so that the relevant data is already available. Select the relevant invoice from the overview table and click on "Credit note" or double-click on the invoice and click on "Credit note" in the detail form.

To add a credit note manually, click on Add in the credit note overview .

Fill in the necessary details. The tabs are described in detail in the article on orders.

Outputting credit notes

You can output your credit notes in PDF format to print them out on paper, for example. By clicking on Print, the default document layout is used as the basis for the document.

If you would like to use a different layout as the basis for your PDF, click on Document layout and you will be taken to the overview table of all saved layouts. Select the desired layout and click on Create PDF file. The PDF document opens in a separate window.

Edit credit notes

If you want to make a quick change to the created document, you can do this using the post-processing function.

Fill in the items of the document and click on the Post-process button.

The document opens with LibreOffice. Make the necessary changes and save them. The modified receipt is automatically uploaded to Scopevisio and also saved as a PDF under the Documents tab.

Sending credit notes

To send your credit notes directly by e-mail, click on the Send button.

The e-mail is sent directly from the program to the recipient's e-mail address. Scopevisio obtains this e-mail address from the contact details.

The standard layout for invoices defined under Master data > Document layouts is used as the basis for the attached PDF document.

Tip: You can use the $Logo placeholder to store your company logo in the email. Upload a graphic file as a logo to the contact entry of your own company(Setup wizard > Company) and insert the placeholder in the desired position in the email.
