Contacts/persons/companies/partners

You can create personal and company contacts in Scopevisio. The contact role is first filled with the contact's master data. The contact can then be converted manually or automatically into a partner or another contact role. These other contact roles display the role-specific information and transaction data.

A contact can have several roles. If you assign a new role to a contact, the other roles are not lost.

Create company contact quickly

Scopevisio integrates the Creditreform search by company name. You can use this under the menu item OpenScope > Creditreform search to verify address data, for example.

A practical feature is that you can now also use the Creditreform search directly when creating companies. Simply click on Create contact.

Then all you have to do is save the new contact.

Create company contact

Select Contacts > Companies and click on Add.

You can also use the plus symbol at the top right to quickly create new objects.

The Contact form

The Contact form opens with the General view. Master data for the contact is entered here. You can use the Project button to jump to projects that are assigned to the contact - if there are any.

Depending on your product line, not all of the options shown may be available.

Please note the following when creating contacts. The numbering refers to the numbers in the illustration above.

  1. Yellow fields are mandatory fields.

  2. Right-click on an empty space in the form to display additional business objects. Right-click on a business object to display a screen on which you can determine which data fields you want to display. Click on a heading and drag a business object with the mouse to another position on the form.

  3. Manually convert the contact to a different role.

  4. Drag an image file here to add a logo or photo.

  5. Create a time entry with reference to the contact.

  6. Open a calendar that displays tasks, projects and working hours related to the contact.

  7. Use this symbol to create a company contact, i.e. a company and a person at the same time, e.g. from a business card.

  8. Create a project for this contact.

  9. Use the plus symbols to add further objects, e.g. telephone numbers, contact persons, etc.

  10. Create employees of the company here.

  11. The address can be automatically taken from the Creditreform address databases.

Save your entries using the diskette symbol or CTRL+S.

Create personal contact

Select Contacts > People and click on Add. Or type CTRL+N and select Create person (see below).

Employees in company

You have entered a contact in a company, e.g. a managing director, and saved the entry using the floppy disk symbol.

The contact is automatically saved as an employee in this company, see Company employee business object.

Create business contact

You can use the Create business contact icon (or CTRL+N) to create a person and company contact at the same time. This is useful, for example, if you want to enter a business card for a managing director in your CRM.

 

  1. If you upload a vCard file, all data will be transferred directly and correctly.

  2. The contents of a business card or a website imprint or text are partially recognized automatically (however, a follow-up check is recommended).

  3. Enter the personal and company data or select an existing person or company.

  4. Address completion is also available here.

Comments with reference to tasks or projects

Add further comments from projects, documents, tasks or emails of this contact in the comment of a contact. To do this, activate the desired documentation levels in the Additional reference selection box.
