Setting up the telephone interface

Setting up the telephone interface

Find out how you can integrate Windows TAPI into Scopevisio.

Prerequisite: The telephony connection only works with Windows (TAPI).

You also use a PC-based telephone system that supports this function (e.g. ESTOS ProCall or FRITZ!Box) or you already work with Internet telephony. You will also need a softphone program, such as Windows Phoner, which can be downloaded free of charge from the Internet.

Activate Windows TAPI

You can define your individual configuration via Settings > My Scopevisio or in the new ribbon under System menu > My Scopevisio. Here you also have the option of activating the dialing function for Windows TAPI.

Note: In most cases, the help of an IT service provider is required to set up this function. It currently only works under Windows.

For more advanced installations, e.g. in a call center, please contact our support team on 0800 800 800 2 to clarify which requirements your system meets:

  • Do you have a Windows or a Mac computer?

  • Do you use IP telephony? Or ISDN?

  • Do you make calls on the computer? With a headset?

  • Do you use a softphone that supports the SIP standard?

  • Do you have a telephone system that can address a TAPI interface?

Once these questions have been answered, we can take the next step and find a solution tailored to your individual needs.
