Opportunities (sales projects): Total
In Scopevisio, you can map your projects precisely and individually.
This means that several projects can be mapped under each contact. There is therefore a one-to-many relationship between contact and project.
One contact, multiple projects
Scopevisio project management distinguishes between different project categories. These include sales projects, customer projects and other categories, such as organizational projects.
Sales projects in Scopevisio make it possible to map several sales processes with one and the same contact in parallel.
Sales management
Scopevisio sales projects are a sales management tool. Scopevisio provides a structured process for this.
The roles of lead and prospect are mapped in sales projects. The same contact can have different roles in different projects.
The sales process begins when a contact is assumed to have potential (also known as a sales chance or opportunity). The contact becomes a lead.
When the need becomes more concrete, an offer can be created. In this phase, the contact is assigned the project role of prospective customer.
Lead qualification and the forecast are project-specific. The same project addressee can promise a high level of sales in one sales project and a low level in another. Only if all parameters can be defined on a project-specific basis are the findings valuable for sales management.
When does a sales project begin and end?
A sales project often begins with the BANT qualification. A potential or an offer can also be created directly.
It ends,
either when the addressee accepts the offer and becomes a customer. From then on, a customer project is managed for him.
or when there are no more sales prospects. The lead is then downgraded to a simple contact.
Sales project combines contact and project view
In a sales project, you need contact and project information. These can be combined into a comprehensive view using a switch, whereby contact information is highlighted in gray and project information in blue.
The illustration shows the Lead view of a sales project. Clicking on the gray Contact button takes you back to the contact view.
Decision time - preallocation
A sales project receives its decision time from the associated potential or offer
Select Sales > Sales projects.
The decision time of a sales project corresponds to the decision time of the associated potential or offer. The Decision field in the sales project is therefore taken from the potential or offer. The field content is displayed for information purposes in the project itself.
Conversion to sales projects
Information for existing customers who have not previously worked with sales projects (new ribbon: Opportunities) and have now been migrated:
What happens during the changeover and what effect does it have?
The original contact rolesLead and Prospect are removed from the pure contact and transferred to sales projects. In the respective sales projects, you will now find this information in the Lead and Prospect project roles. These automatically created sales projects have the status "unprocessed".
A sales project is also created for every contact that was once a lead or prospect but now has another existing role such as customer, debtor or creditor, this time with the status "completed".
Scopevisio also generates sales projects from the migration of a contact with potential or quotation, status "completed". Original sales projects retain the project category "Sales project" and their status.
before migration | after migration | Status |
---|---|---|
Contact role Lead | Sales project role lead | unprocessed |
Contact role interested party | Sales project role prospect | unprocessed |
All other contact roles (customer/debtor/creditor) created from leads or prospects | Sales project roles | completed |
any contacts with potentials or offers | Sales project roles | terminated |
Sales project | Sales project | original status is retained |
If you would like to remove the automatically generated sales projects, display your sales projects/opportunities in a table and activate the "Project type" column view. Use this to filter out the projects that were created by the conversion from contacts. You can then remove these with a click if required.
