Account statement for personal account
With the balance confirmation function, you can also create account statements for creditors and debtors and email them directly. Thanks to the layout, these are visually more professional than the printout of the open item list.
Create account statement for personal account
As an example, we will use the account statement for a vendor account.
Go to Finances > Receivables > Open vendor items and select the Open items on a key date link via Further actions (three dots).
Now enter the relevant key date and click on Prepare balance confirmation under the table. (2). The function is only available if the checkbox "Consider later clearing" (1) is not activated, as otherwise items relevant to the key date will be hidden.
You are now in the "Balance confirmation" form.
As the Auditor field is not required for the account statement, you can assign any contact to (1) and ignore the remaining fields.
Under Settings, you can optionally assign an editor (2), depending on whether you use the placeholder.
For the layout (3), use the accounts payable or accounts receivable layout "without WP" in the name from the predefined layouts. You can of course customize your layout file with text and a logo.
Now use the checkbox to select the vendors to whom you want to send an account statement. You can create all documents at once via "Print". If you are sending the account statement by e-mail, only select one line as it is sent individually.
You can also predefine text modules for the e-mail subject and the e-mail text for e-mail dispatch. Under Organization > Master data > Languages and text modules: Manage text modules, we have prepared texts that you can easily adapt.
