Inventory
Up to now, we have offered an inventory as a key date inventory.
The inventory option makes it easy for you to carry out an inventory in your location or individual warehouse and create the corresponding inventory documents.
The inventory module can be used to record your periodic inventory as well as the first commissioning of the system with an initial inventory.
We are therefore able to limit an inventory to products with (booked stock) or to extend it. The alternative described is intended in particular for the initial inventory.
Inventories can be carried out at one or more locations and always receive an ID so that it is possible to trace which inventory ID was used to record which stocks on which day.
As usual, after clicking on Inventory, you will first see an overview of all inventories. These can have the status: In preparation, Started, Completed or Canceled . You should define the inventory period in order to always act transparently.
Select Create to create a new inventory or Edit to edit an inventory that has already been started.
A detail page opens for the inventory in question.
You can insert or edit the inventory entries using the action buttons below.
You can set a document date and a plan date for the inventory documents .
Enter the location .
The status is set automatically depending on how far your inventory has progressed.
Click on Start inventory to start recording your stocks.
All stocks that Scopevisio calculates are shown in the Target stock field. The result of the stocktaking must be recorded in the Target stock field.
Any differences can be assigned directly to a loss account stored for the product or product group when the inventory is posted.
This posting can be set up organizationally by another person, department, etc.
Export
We can also export an inventory file via csv, record the actual stocks in Excel and save them in this file in preparation for the import.
In this way, we can ensure that we read and write consistent data everywhere.
2Go/webapp
With the help of the 2Go mobile app, the actual inventory can be recorded in the app: these are the products that are available in these quantities at this location.
To do this, the inventory must be created and started in the client, then the inventory appears in the app with the serial number.
We can also systematically count and store quantities here, but with the additional option of always being able to clearly and quickly identify products using a barcode scanner via the camera of a cell phone or tablet, or alternatively via the laser scan of an MDE, without us as users having to have product knowledge to distinguish one product from another.
With this integration, we prevent count lists from appearing incomplete.
