Batches and lots

Product batches are used in many industries. In Scopevisio, we can mark products subject to batch management as such. This can easily be done for several products by setting the product group.

With the first inventory in Scopevisio and with every goods receipt, batches can be added to delivery items, these are included on all movement lines and assigned to the orders according to the FIFO principle. This results in a transparent view of batches in stock.

If several batches of a product have to be kept in stock when your data is first set up, this must be available as a single data record in order to be able to complete the import. We always assign a single batch during migration.

Batches are visible on the product stocks of an individual product and the stock overview.

With the inclusion of a batch, best-before dates can also be included in order to make a statement on best-before dates at data level.

Batches are used by some of our customers to process serial numbers.

If a product is subject to batch management, we require the batch to be entered when the goods receipt is recorded in the system.
