Official release of the REST Open Semantic API

Scopevisio offers you integrated processes beyond your cloud-based business software:

The REST API represents the next evolutionary step in linking Scopevisio with external applications and processes. This opens up interaction options for developers, which include both data queries and the generation of data records. These are then available for the following process steps in Scopevisio.

With the launch of the REST API, there is an extensive reference of calls for programming the execution of the corresponding web services, and many core Scopevisio functions can already be accessed externally. The scope will be consistently expanded with the next releases; in the long term, REST will be the successor to the first interface offered, SOAP. The Scopevisio REST API is documented for programmers at swagger.

Extensions to the setting export

System administration > System > Export system settings

The administrative transfer of settings and configurations in Scopevisio is very simple:

The desired criteria are selected in System Administration under Export system settings - here the configuration type indicates whether it is a setting at user, company or instance level. The generated configuration files are saved locally and can be shared. The import dialog opens automatically when a configuration file is dragged and dropped onto the header bar of the application in the open target client.

In line with practical requirements, the selection of transferable configurations has been continuously expanded. The most recently published exports for transfer include

  • Product groups (per company): Exchange of product group names and structures between companies.

  • Selection lists (per user): Standardization of adapted designations within selection lists.

  • Worklists (per user): Passing on individual worklist templates.

Extended options for rounding behavior

Scopevisio now offers you improved options for billing created time entries: The rounding behavior has been extended by additional options and can be adjusted to the desired modalities regarding the rounding behavior on minute, hour and day level.

You can configure this within time accounting via Further settings (double arrow at the top right of the application). Calculate to the nearest second or minute or use the pro rata use for rounding behavior for days:

Time entry 4 h > 0.5 days.

Time entry 8 h > 1 day.

Time entry 12 h > 1.5 days.

The rounding options can be accessed within time accounting via the double arrow "Further actions" > Time accounting - Settings.

Scopevisio 2Go applications

Further user interface improvements in 2GO applications

Settings > My Scopevisio > My Scopevisio 2Go apps.

Following on from the new menus released with the last feature set, a further redesign has been made to improve the handling of the mobile applications.

The detailed menus, shown here using the example of the contact view in REBU2GO, now make navigation easier thanks to the vertical menu structure, which is particularly advantageous on smartphones. The applications on the desktop, tablet or smartphone always make use of the given display size: As responsive applications, Scopevisio 2GO apps hide or show their menus in the basic view, depending on how much screen space is available to the user.

In addition to the redesign of the contact menus, the icons have been adapted in many places for a lighter look and feel.

Scopevisio 2Go apps can be accessed as a browser app via scopevisio.com > My Scopevisio > Starter 2Go, the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
