Data sources without authentication no longer available

OpenScope > Data sources

For reasons of data protection and to prevent unauthorized access to your financial and sales figures, authentication of data sources is now mandatory. When creating new data sources, store the authorized users in the Data source business object, "Configure authentication", and assign a password.

Existing data sources will also be converted after a transition period and can then still be used with a user name and password. We will provide separate information about this in advance. Irrespective of this, you can already configure your existing data source accesses accordingly.

 

Search for the content of emails and email attachments

Contacts, projects, tasks: "E-mail" business object

A special search function has been implemented to search incoming and imported emails, including their attachments, for content. The search field can be found both in the Correspondence emails form and in the business objects called "Email". To search for email content via the global "Scopen field", "Emails" must be selected via the checkbox on the left of the field.

Separate administration area for DMS Teamwork

In the system administration, all Teamwork transactions have been combined in a separate area.

Confirmation when deleting templates

A confirmation dialog has been added to prevent unintentional deletion of favourites, templates or worklists.

 

Substitute for support tickets

Support (i symbol at the bottom left of the application)

In the support ticket overview, under "Further actions" (double arrow at the top right), there is the option of granting other system users access to their own support tickets. Clicking on "Support ticket settings" opens a form where up to three substitutes can be stored. They can view, edit and comment on the support tickets. If the ticket creator is deleted as a user, their tickets are retained for the named substitutes.

Sales

Own favorites for sales projects, leads and prospects

A separate favorite can now be selected for each of the Total, Leads and Prospects worklists belonging to the sales projects.

Customer number (external) field enabled for campaigns

The external customer number can now be used in the campaigns. The placeholder for this is {customer_number_external}.

A potential always becomes a sales project

Sales > Forecast > Potentials

Only one sales project can now be created from a potential via Project > New.

Multiple filter for working days

Projects > Projects (General, "Project details" business object)

If entries are defined in the "Working days" selection list, these can now be selected in the project list and in the business object using a multiple filter. The selection list can be found under System administration > System > Manage selection lists > Projects, campaigns and time recording.

Position column in the project team

The "Position" column is now also displayed in the "Project team" business object.

Renaming in the time recording

The previous names "Add new entry" and "Add follow-up entry" have been renamed "Add" and "Follow-up entry".

Attachments

New fields in the inventory list

The fields Serial number, Description and Dimensions 1-10 have been added to the inventory list.
