Comments reworked
Separate menu entry for comments
Activities > Comments
Required permission: Companies and users, Comment administration
All comments from projects, contacts and tasks are brought together under the Comments menu item. They can be filtered by employee, project, contact and task. Comments can also be moved via this table, e.g. from a contact to a project. To do this, click in the corresponding table field and select the entry that is to receive the comment from the selection list that opens. Please note that the comment will be moved completely.
As with all tables, you can save pre-filtered lists as templates.
Entering comments
As before, comments are recorded in the corresponding business object in projects, contacts and tasks. The additional information such as comment type or display in contact roles is entered in a separate form. This overlay dialog opens when the comment is saved. If comments from personal contacts are also to be displayed for the employer, this must be explicitly selected here.
To save the comment directly, use the key combination CTRL+RETURN. In this case, the additional information is saved with the default values.
To edit a comment, simply double-click, alternatively you can use the context menu (right mouse button). The latter can also be used to remove comments.
Further changes
General changes
Please note: Display of user-defined fields in the overviews
All overview lists
Previously, user-defined fields were automatically displayed as columns in the overview lists. As Scopevisio will continuously increase the number of user-defined fields, this behavior quickly leads to confusion. For this reason, the columns with the current feature set were initially hidden in all overview lists. However, they can easily be added again via the context menu (right mouse button in the gray heading bar).
